God only knows why I bought this, it seemed like a great idea at the time and I did
enjoy tinkering with it. In fact I might even get another [oh god what have you started!] to
tinker with during the long dark winter nights.
It came at a price though, namely 3 points for speeding and a £60 fine, the officer didn't like the reason I gave
when asked why I was speeding which was "because I'm gasping for a dump and trying to get to the
services in time". Ah well these things happen.
I popped into a Lambretta place in Weston Super-Mare and was told the scooter wasn't worth it's weight
in scrap and why am I bothering. Left there feeling deflated, was looking to max out my sparkly new gold card
on nice bits too.
The scooter seemed to be doomed, little things kept happening which kept me from completing it. The final
straw was black overspray all over my lovely new red bodywork so it had to go. I did make on the deal and had
a lot of fun with it though so no regrets </nostalgia>
